L’Académie : c’est génial !
Académie Sainte-Thérèse, a Francophone elementary and high school educational institution, has been a key player in the educational field in the Laurentians since 1982. The Académie has contracted Cyclone Design Communications for the past 3 years to manage open day advertising campaigns for their Rosemère and Jacques-About campuses and revamp their communication tools.
In order to increase attendance at the open day events while highlighting the key teaching values at the Académie, CDC developed a communications campaign entitled "C’est génial !” that showcases the enthusiasm of students on both campuses and the stimulating environment in the prestigious school.
The "C’est génial !” campaign is characterized by a strong, revamped visual identity built around a series of black and white still images of students in both campuses. Three recurring branding colours were used: yellow, blue and pink. These colours subtly draw attention to the photos and also convey the values associated with each colour (excellence, diversity and drive).
Over the past 3 years, we have adapted this campaign for various advertising tools: printed and digital campaigns, billboards, bus adverts, bookmarks, T-shirts, website and social media accounts.

A tailor-made interactive guided tour of both campuses
In 2016, CDC advised the Académie Sainte-Thérèse to enhance its "C’est génial !” campaign in order to further differentiate the open days and leverage client experience by adding a virtual tour of the campuses that would complement the open days (both before and after). Cyclone Design Communications also created and developed the interactive online journey available on cestgenial.ca so that parents and students alike can easily navigate the campuses. The available classes are explained using images and the site shows what sets the Académie apart. The website can be visited any time after an open day so that parents and children can find out more about the establishment and relive the visit from the comfort of their home.Visit the website
Eight videos featuring children from 5 to 17 years old effectively illustrate just how great the Académie is: (architecture, editing, programming, integration, photoshoot, shoot supervision and video editing). Cyclone also directed and created the interactive journey.Watch the video
