The rebirth of a brand

While the vast majority of the mandates entrusted to CDC have strategic components, the mission entrusted to us by the industrial company Ivys Adsorption was one of the most stimulating of 2023.

In the course of a company's history, a number of events can lead to the evolution of its brand. The story of Ivys Adsorption began with the purchase of the assets of Xebec, a company formerly listed on the stock exchange. From the very first strategic meetings, the managers presented us with the situation and the many challenges affecting the company's communications and image.

First phase

The first phase of our assignment was to draw up a communications plan to establish a dialogue between the brand's various stakeholders. From internal communications with existing teams to external communications with partners and customers, Ivys wanted to regain market confidence and demonstrate that it still has one of the most effective technologies for purifying specialised and renewable natural gas.

Developing a brand and creating a visual identity

Brand development is an exercise in getting the right people around the table. A brand committee was quickly formed and CDC, as strategy consultant, orchestrated the transition. Redefining the company's pillars, identifying its benefits, and clarifying its vision and mission were among the preliminary steps in the creation process.

Beyond visual identity, deploying a complete brand environment

Building the foundations of a new brand is a brief milestone in a brand's history. Deploying it across the company's ecosystem is often a major challenge, where compliance and consistency are of the utmost importance. Our team supported Ivys in the deployment of this new environment by carrying out a complete overhaul of not only sales support tools, but also documentation and the actual design of certain products.

A tailor-made website

At the same time as we were developing the brand, our team was thinking about setting up the website. The focus was on how to present the company's various divisions and their respective products. From July to October 2023, CDC created the entire website, from the tree structure to complete programming, including copywriting, interface design, animations and photoshoots.

A dedicated team working in perfect synergy with in-house resources

Following the roll-out of the image and the launch of the website, CDC is now acting as an outsourced marketing/communications department, working with Ivys on a weekly basis. Weekly follow-up meetings with the various teams mean that a number of projects can evolve simultaneously, ensuring greater continuity in the initiatives implemented.


Launch event

An internal launch of the brand image took place in October 2023. To mark the occasion, Ivys organised an event with the support of CDC to celebrate the group's new identity and fresh start with all local employees.
