The Coffee Shop & Bistro for happy moments
Opened in July 2022, Café Nao is a unique place nestled in the heart of Little Italy. Designed to please the gourmet taste buds as much as to bring people together over a drink or a meal, this unique café is the embodiment of the experiences, wishes and passions of Noée and Alexis.
They called upon CDC to design their brand image and the graphic universe of their new business. Our agency had the pleasure of joining the Café Nao adventure from the very beginning, in order to assist Noée and Alexis in the definition and implementation of a strong and original brand identity.


Definition of a brand identity and launch of a showcase website
For this project, resolutely focused on the values of simplicity and friendliness dear to its founders, the CDC agency created a branding in line with the particular history and the warm atmosphere of Café Nao. The logo, typography and graphic identity were designed to reflect the café-bistro spirit of the place.
The shape of the logo designed by our team symbolises a jewel. In the abundant world of local cafés and restaurants, Café Nao is indeed a little jewel with its comforting setting and its sophisticated decoration, featuring vintage accents and pastel tones.
The typography used is round and elegant. The one chosen for the word NAO is intended to be reassuring, in order to highlight the warmth of the place. Finally, the colour palette chosen is vintage inspired: it is composed of warm, muted and welcoming colours for a unique style, which blends perfectly with the atmosphere of the place.

The project led by CDC was carried out in several stages:
+ Needs assessment with the client, who initially wanted to develop its brand image and have a showcase website;
+ Development of two work streams by our designers;
+ Completion of the brand image and creation of the standards guide;
+ Development of the graphical and technical aspects of the website;
+ Delivery of the final website.

The home page of the website highlights the background and history of Noée and Alexis, as well as the welcoming and friendly spirit of this place created in their image. Both the content and the photographs are based on this guiding idea, leading to an invitation to come and sit down and share a moment of relaxation.
The website is also enhanced with practical functionalities essential to a restaurant business, such as a menu tab for the café-bistro, a link to the reservation platform and a contact form.
